u should be able to scroll through posts in a channel rather than having to click in an out of each one

it bothers me when i’m scrolling and get several posts in a row from the same channel, is it the algo or users submitting multiple posts at once?

Ability to login on website as well

Support for web files. They compress a better and more sites are using them now that support is better than it was 5 years ago. Feel like avif isn’t used much yet so not as important

markdown formatting for text

ability to multi upload but then display as individual posts in a channel (it can still carousel in feed if this would be a spam issue) (i personally always like my channels to be 1 image each post but it’s a pain to upload individually)

i like the new full screen view where i can explore similar images, but i feel like there is some unnecessary friction imo if i want to continue exploring i have to leave that view, even if an image catches my attention i have to open it again just to load another set of images ...

I’ve noticed that when uploading images through the app, the quality is reduced, looking a but more blurred or pixelated, especially with higher-resolution photos. I’d suggest allowing users to upload in original or higher quality, even if it’s optional or limited by file size. ...

how are y’all making money btw?

would love to see what channels users have submitted to, not just which ones they created… maybe in a different tab or something

had some concerns brought to my attention from friends!- when deleting a picture posted it doesn’t delete from other channels that the photo had been connected to- may become safety issue

can we have a easy access to the blog in the app

a way to log in using username would be helpful. I had an account I was posting on but didn’t log in for a while now have lost access to it. I’ve tried all my usual emails but it doesn’t log me in, im always prompted to create a new screen name.

feelin more and more that id like to see “channels you’re a part of” or “channels you’ve connected to” in profile view (perhaps only on user-side and not publicly visible? or idk - mostly bc i just wanna be able to keep track of what and where those channels are)

some sort of way to crop photo while in the app.

the text in the submit (input) page renders slightly differently than the actual posted text in the item row. it could be character spacing or something like that. but what is certain is that, i like the input page much better.

there should be an analog form of inviting visitors/other users to submit to channels. like having a QR code for each channel. would be swell to print out and hang around the city, or in the woods, or in some hidden nook under the stairs somewhere…

if i have a photo loaded from library alr and then i hit library again if i hit cancel the photo i prev had uploaded shouldn’t be removed!

replies should have their own tab in activity between “all” and “submissions”
